Why choose Camphor Laurel over plastic chopping boards or other types of wood? 🌿 Camphor posseses many antibacterial properties, the wood’s natural oils help reduce the presence of bacteria & fungi. In comparison, plastic cutting boards have over 4 times the number of microbes on the cutting surface.

Caring for your board:
~ Cut on one side, serve on the other. Avoid cutting directly onto the resin, but rather use this side for decorative purposes. Always dry with a tea towel after washing.
~ Oil your board one to two times per month to replace and replenish the wood's natural oils and add protection. Wood oils penetrate the timber, protecting it against exposure to elements as well as age and wear.
